Karthi's popularity in Tamil: Karthi is immensely popular in Tamil and has gained popularity recently in Telugu due to 'Oopiri' and 'Cheliya'. While the film is a dubbed version of Theeran Adhigaram Ondru that has also released today, it remains to be seen if the film will be as much of a hit in Telugu as it is bound to be in Tamil.

Karthi-Rakul chemistry: This is the first time that Karthi is paired with Rakul Preet and their on-screen chemistry is believed to be one of the highlights of the film

Karthi as a cop: Khakee has Karthi playing the role of an honest cop, for the second time in his career, a role which depicts the problems policemen face in their line of work.

Second outing of Vinoth: This is the second film for director Vinoth. His first film Sathuranga Vettai was also a runaway hit and Karthi fans would be hoping that he can recreate the magic of his debut film.

Action sequences: The action-sequences have been lavishly shot and the incredible thing is that Karthi has done all the stunts without using a body double.
