Kriti Sanon, who will be seen essaying the role of Janaki in the upcoming film 'Adipurush,' has wrapped up shooting for her portions in the film. The news has been shared by the director Om Raut on his Twitter handle. The 31-year-old actress shot for the upcoming film in Mumbai.
Director Om Raut took to Twitter on Saturday, October 16 shared an adorable picture with Kriti from the wrap party and penned a beautiful note.He wrote, ''Dear Kriti, it was magical watching you play Janaki. Can’t believe your part is wrapped up. What a lovely journey!!! #Adipurush @kritisanon.''
Replying to Om Raut, Kriti Sanon thanked her director for creating the world of 'Adipurush' and giving her the opportunity to be a part of it. She tweeted, ''Can’t believe this journey has come to an end so soon! Thank you for giving me #Janaki and believing that i could carry the weight & responsibility that the character came with.Your vision is extraordinary! Its a film & a character I’ll always be proud of! #Adipurush.''

Directed by Om Raut, 'Adipurush' is said to be the adaptation of the Indian epic that revolves around the triumph of good over evil. Starring Prabhas in the titular role and Kriti Sanon as Janaki, the film will be produced by T-Series Films in association with Retrophiles. Tipped to be a pan-India film, 'Adipurush' has garnered intrigue among fans, who are waiting for the teaser of the film.
