‘Kuberaa’ box office collections day 3: Dhanush’s film collects Rs 48.50 crores

Dhanush’s latest outing 'Kuberaa' continues its impressive run at the box office, closing its opening weekend on a high note. The film, which also features veteran actor Nagarjuna Akkineni and Rashmika Mandanna, has now collected a total of Rs 48.50 crore across all languages in just three days.

As reported by the Sacnilk website, after a strong start on Friday with ₹14.75 crore, 'Kuberaa' saw steady upward momentum through the weekend.


The film raked in Rs 16.5 crore on Saturday, registering an 11.86% growth. Early estimates for Sunday suggest an even better Rs 17.25 crore haul, pushing the film’s India net total to Rs 48.50 crore across all languages. The Telugu version has dominated the collections so far.





Telugu version impresses


Telugu audiences turned out in large numbers, especially on Sunday, with the film recording an overall 70.56% occupancy. Afternoon and evening shows were packed, registering over 80% occupancy.


The Tamil version saw moderate turnout, with an overall occupancy of 34.18%, while the Hindi version lagged behind at 18.80%.


What's next



Directed by Sekhar Kammula, Kuberaa boasts a star-studded cast including Dhanush in a gritty avatar, Nagarjuna Akkineni in a pivotal role, and Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Jim Sarbh and Dalip Tahil round off the ensemble. ETimes gave the film a rating of 3.5 stars out of 5 and our review read, "Where Kuberaa falters is in its pacing. The first half takes its time to build the world—perhaps a little too slowly."


With decent reviews and good audience interest, 'Kuberaa' could perform more impressively in the coming days. On the other hand, Dhanush's previous outing was the action drama movie 'Raayan', which received good reviews and did a decent box office business.
