Bollywood star Aamir Khan is all set to come back to silver screen with the upcoming film 'Laal Singh Chaddha'. Earlier this week, the star actor organised a special screening for the bigwigs in Telugu film fraternity in Hyderabad. The screening was attended by megastar Chiranjeevi, 'RRR' filmmaker SS Rajamouli, 'Pushpa' filmmaker Sukumar, Akkineni Nagarjuna his son Naga Chaitanya, who plays a crucial role in 'Laal Singh Chaddha'.
A photo of Chiru, Nag, Chaitanya, Rajamouli and Sukumar along with Aamir Khan watching the film went viral on social media. In the photo, they were seen watching the film with Aamir Khan in a special screening.
'Laal Singh Chaddha' is an official remake of iconic Hollywood film 'Forrest Gump'. The film will be released on 11 August, 2022. It tells the story of five decades that promises to travel through important events of Indian culture, multiple picturesque locations, and sudden emotional turmoil. Directed by Advait Chandan, 'Laal Singh Chaddha', produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Kiran Rao, and Viacom18 Studios, also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Mona Singh, and Naga Chaitanya Akkineni.
Music composers Tanuj Tiku and Pritam have been roped in as the music composer for the project, while the technical crew also includes Satyajit Pande as the Director of Photography, Hemanti Sarkar as the editor and Bilal Hashmi and Pravin S Kadam as the art directors.
