August 2022 seems to be a lucky month for the Telugu film industry, as most of the movies that were released this month ('Bimbisara', 'Sita Ramam, 'Karthikeya 2') have been winning hearts at the Tollywood box office.
Today, yet another new film, the sports action film ‘Liger’ has been released on a Pan-India level from the Hyderabad-based Entertainment industry that starred Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday in the lead roles besides Ramya Krishnan, Ronit Roy, Vishu Reddy playing other important roles in the film.
'Liger' has also been in news due to World's Ex-heavy weight boxing Champion Mike Tyson playing an extended Cameo in the film and also was in news for having 5 music directors composing each song for this film, which generally doesnt happen with Telugu films and Sunil Kashyap has taken care of its background score.
Vijay Deverakonda is said to have played the role of a kickboxer with a stutter while Ananya is his love interest. Ramya Krishnan played his mother, and Ronit Roy his master. The film was reported premiered for a section of the audience and has been receiving a thumping response to mixed reviews for its action episodes, story line, songs and other sequences.
The film’s cinematography has been handled by Vishnu Sarma, while it was edited by Junaid Siddiqui and is getting released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages today.
