‘Maharshi’: Mahesh Babu starrer postponed again, won’t release in April?

One of the most awaited films of the year, Mahesh Babu starrer ‘Maharshi’ is delayed yet again. There was buzz that the film was to release on the occasion of Ugadi on April 5, this year. However, that ain’t happening as the action entertainer is postponed and will release on April 25. Now, according to the industry sources, it is yet again postponed and is scheduled to release in June.
Well, this is majorly because a lot of shoot work is still pending and obviously post-production would take much time which is why the makers have reportedly decided to push ‘Maharshi’ release to June.An announcement of the same will be done soon.
Written and directed by Vamshi Paidipally, the film has Mahesh Babu playing the lead role and Pooja Hegde, Sonal Chauhan, Allari Naresh, Jagapathi Babu among others in key roles. The film’s music has been scored by Devi Sri Prasad, while KU Mohanan has worked on it cinematography and Praveen KL on editing. The film is produced by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V Potluri under the banner Sri Venkateswara Creations in collaboration with Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema.
