Speaking about what promoted him to play a social crusader, he said that to have a national conscience, social sensitivity and strength to speak out has become very important for everyone, and films can do that. He fees that cinema is a great medium to promote social responsibility. He also added that he is not trying to force social responsibility on the audience, but trying to give a perspective. “Bharat Ane Nenu will make you think in a certain way, a good way,” he said.
