The trailer of Naandhi sees Allari Naresh play a

prisoner

who is accused of murdering someone. His lawyer, played by Varalaxmi, questions the court why her client is suffering in prison as an under-trial prisoner since years even as his parents claim his innocence to the media. The film touches upon the topics of

custodial deaths

, police brutality and more. The actor even went nude for one scene in the film, which heart-wrenchingly shows him being tortured.

Music for Naandhi has been composed by

Sricharan Pakala

while Sid has handled the camera. Story for the film is penned by Toom Venkat and dialogues are by Abburi Ravi. Satish Vegesna has bankrolled the film under SV2 Entertainment banner. Apart from Naresh and Varalaxmi, the film also sees Navami, Harish Uthaman, Pravin, Priyadarshi, Devi Prasad, Vinay Varma, CL Narsimha Rao, Srikanth Iyengar, Ramesh Reddy, Chakrapani, Grigneswara Rao, Rajyalakshmi, Mani Chandana and Pramodhini in key roles.
