Tollywood actors who don't like remakes
Remaking of movies is quite common these days. Several actors are interested in making remakes. We already know that 20 years of Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s career is almost full of remakes. However, some of the actors do not encourage remakes at all. No remakes have been made since they started their careers. Do you want to know who they are? Well, without further ado, let's see Tollywood actors who don't like remakes.

Mahesh Babu
Even 20 years after starting his career, Mahesh Babu has not done a single remake so far. He made his debut as the lead in K Raghavendra Rao directed-film Rajakumarudu in 1999. The superstar once said he could not do remakes. The 45-year-old actor will be next seen in Parasuram directorial Sarkaru Vaari Paata, a commercial action entertainer. Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh has been roped in to romance Mahesh Babu in the film.

Allu Arjun
Although it seemed a bit strange to believe, Stylish Star Allu Arjun has not done any remake over the span of his 15 years career. For the unversed, he was the first choice to play the lead role in Dhruva, a Telugu remake of Tamil hit film Thani Oruvan. The 37-year-old actor is currently busy shooting in Sukumar’s Pushpa, where he will be seen essaying a red sandal smuggler Pushpa Raj. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine of the movie.

Sai Dharam Tej
Whether it was a hit or flop, Sai Dharam Tej also did straight movies rather than doing remakes. He made his debut with the 2014 film Pilla Nuvvu Leni Jeevitham directed by AS Ravi Kumar however Harish S Shankar’s Subramanyam for Sale brought him into the limelight. Everyone knows the rest of the story. The 34-year-old actor’s next film Solo Brathuke So Better is all set to hit the marquees sometime in December. Nabha Natesh will be seen romancing Sai Dharam in the movie.

Vijay Deverakonda
Sensational hero Vijay Deverakonda has also done blockbuster films like Pelli Choopulu, Arjun Reddy and Geetha Govindam but has not done any remake so far. He made his debut as the lead in Tharun Bhascker’s Pelli Choopulu in 2016 after essaying several supporting roles. The 31-year-old actor has teamed up with director Puri Jagannadh for Fighter. Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey will be seen playing the leading lady opposite Vijay in the film.

Rana Daggubati
Handsome hunk Rana Daggubati has also not done remake films so far. He might not be interested in remakes. Rana began his career as a visual effects coordinator before becoming an actor with his debut film Leader in 2010. Not only does this Daggubati clad hail from an affluent filmy background but also he’s highly talented. The 35-year-old actor will be next seen in Aranya, 1945, Hiranya Kashyapa and Virata Parvam.

Sree Vishnu
Even Sri Vishnu, who is known for starring in content-oriented films, has not been seen in remake films till now. The actor played minor roles in the career beginning before becoming the lead actor in Prema Ishq Kaadhal where he was seen as Royal Raju. He is known for his hits films including Appatlo Okadundevaadu, Mental Madhilo, Needi Naadi Oke Katha and Brochevarevarura.

Akhil Akkineni
Akhil Akkineni is not keen on remakes. Sources say he always prefers straight films instead of remake subjects. When he has been approached by the makers with such subjects, he simply rejects the proposals. Akhil is a struggling actor who tries to make an impact. He has done five films which failed to impress the audience. He has pinned his hopes on his upcoming film Most Bhaskar’s Most Eligible Bachelor. Pooja Hegde has been roped in to play the female lead in the movie.
