Mahesh Babu's 2001 Telugu film 'Murari' was recently re-released in theaters to celebrate the actor's birthday, and it has once again won the hearts of audiences. The digitally remastered 4K version of the film was released worldwide and grossed an impressive Rs 8 crore at the box office during its run. Fans of Mahesh Babu enjoyed the film in both multiplexes and single-screen theaters, demonstrating the enduring popularity of the movie.

Directed by Krishna Vamsi, 'Murari' is a unique blend of supernatural elements and family drama, featuring a stellar cast that includes Mahesh Babu, Sonali Bendre, Prakash Raj, and Lakshmi, with music composed by Mani Sharma.

Buoyed by the success of the 'Murari' re-release, fans are eagerly anticipating more of Mahesh Babu's films to be re-released in theaters. On the work front, Mahesh Babu was last seen in 'Guntur Kaaram,' which was a commercial success this year. He is set to begin work on his next project, tentatively titled 'SSMB 29,' directed by SS Rajamouli. The film, expected to be a period drama, is currently in pre-production, with veteran actor Nassar set to train the entire cast, including Mahesh Babu, in the required dialect.
