. Rashmika Mandanna has been roped in to play the leading lady opposite Mahesh in the film.

According to the latest news, the first schedule of Sarileru Neekevvaru will be shot in Kashmir and the lead pair will be part of the schedule. Sources also suggested that the team will head to Kurnool to shoot next schedule. Mahesh Babu will be seen playing an army officer in the film.

, the film will jointly be bankrolled by Ramabrahmam Sunkara, Dil Raju and Mahesh Babu under AK Entertainments in association with Sri Venkateswara Creations and GMB Entertainment. The film also stars Vijayashanti, Rajendra Prasad Jagapathi Babu, Ramya Krishna, Pradeep Rawat, Rohini, Kireeti Damaraju, Sachin Khedekar, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Satyam Rajesh, Vennela Kishore, Brahmanandam and others.
