‘Majili’: The Chay-Sam starrer gets a U/A certificate

Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Samantha’s highly anticipated film ‘Majili’ is slated to hit the screens April 5, 2019. While the first look posters struck the right chord with audiences, the teaser and song promos have generated a huge response amongst their fans.
Now, the film has completed censor formalities and has been awarded a ‘U/A’ certificate. Director Shiva Nirvana took to Twitter and announced the same.He wrote: ‘’ This summer hotter than ever #MajiliOnApril5th’’.
The film marks the debut of Divyansha Kaushik, who plays the love interest to Chay in the film. She will be seen playing Chay’s childhood sweetheart named Anshu in the film. The film is bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under Shine Screens banner. Also starring Rao Ramesh, Posani Krishna Murali and Subbaraju in pivotal roles, the film has music by Gopi Sunder with background score by SS Thaman. It has a strong technical crew with Vishnu Sharma cranking the camera and Prawin Pudi editing it.
