Malavika Mohanan on making Tollywood debut with 'The Raja Saab': Want to make a strong start

Actress Malavika Mohanan who is gearing up for the release of her Tamil film 'Thangalaan' will soon be making her debut with Telugu film industry. Starring opposite Prabhas in 'The Raja Saab' directed by Maruthi, the actress while promoting her movie in Hyderabad a day back said that 'The Raja Saab' was not the first offer she got in Tollywood.

The actress stated that she got a lot of offers but waited to get the right offer and make a strong entry. She added that the Telugu film industry is currently the biggest film industry in India and she wanted to make a powerful entry. Malavika Mohanan added that 'The Raja Saab' is a film where she can prove herself as a performer and added that director Maruti is someone who could extract that from her.


Malavika stated that this film is all about learning and using her boundaries. On the work front, she is awaiting the release of her film 'Thangalaan'. Directed by Pa Ranjith, the film is a period action drama featuring Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Pasupathy, Malavika Mohanan and Daniel Catligarone in lead roles and it is awaiting its release on August 15. She has also signed up for her next Tamil film 'Sardar 2' alongside Kathi which is helmed by PS Mithran.
