Malvi Malhotra on feeling relieved after producer Yogesh Singh receives 3 years of imprisonment: 'It was the mental agony that impacted me'

Malvi Malhotra is finally able to move on after a challenging four-year legal struggle stemming from an issue that began in 2020, involving producer Yogesh Singh. Yogesh allegedly stalked her and attacked her, stabbing her three times. In a recent interview, Malvi expressed her relief at being able to put this ordeal behind her.

In an Instagram post last week, Malvi wrote, “The nine nights symbolize the triumph of justice and truth. Justice serves those who take the right path and remain positive. Thank you, Mataji, for giving me justice and the rewards of my patience."



Malvi explained that a professional meeting with Yogesh escalated when he proposed marriage to her. She told News18 that he persistently messaged her and engaged in stalking behavior. Recently, a sessions court in Mumbai sentenced Yogesh to three years in prison. Malvi remarked, “There’s finally a sense of relief. I’ve been fighting for the last four years. There was a lot of mental trauma I went through. More than the physical scars, it was the mental agony that impacted me.” She further talked about the pressure and the many disturbances she has been through and expressed her relief that the truth finally came out.

She further shared that overcoming her fear was a long process, especially since Yogesh had threatened to injure her face. Although she didn’t seek professional therapy, her father played a crucial role in helping her heal. “I’m spiritually very inclined. That’s the only form of therapy that helped and motivated me. My dad counseled me a lot. He helped me improve my mental health,” she added.

In another incident, in July, her co-star Raj Tarun was accused of cheating his former partner, Lavanya, who alleged that Malvi and her brother threatened her safety. Malvi responded to the accusations, stating, “I’m not involved in their personal matters; please leave me out of it. I just made my first Telugu film, and she’s tarnishing my name.”

Malvi made her acting debut in 2017 with the Hindi TV show ‘Udaan.’ She ventured into Tollywood with ‘Tiragabadara Saami’ in February this year. She was also seen in OTT films ‘Zorawar Di’ and ‘Abhyuham’ in Malayalam.
