'Dakshina' is said to be a lady-oriented suspense thriller starring 'Kabali' famed Sai Dhansika in the lead role. The film is written & being directed by Osho Tulasi Ram, who earlier directed successful female-oriented films namely 'Mantra' and 'Mangala' starring Charmy Kaur as the main lead.
This film is being produced by Ashok Shinde under his 'Cult Concepts' banner. The film was officially launched yesterday at Narasimha Reddy Engineering College, Hyderabad with a formal pooja ceremony. Regular shooting will kick-start from today.
Speaking at the event, Producer Ashok Shinde said, "I am happy to do a film with Sai Dhansika and Osho Tulasi Ram. Because, 'Mantra' and 'Mangala', the female-oriented thrillers have set a trend in Tollywood back then. 'Dakshina' will fall under the same genre.

The film will be shot in three schedules. We'll shoot the film in and around Hyderabad till the 24th of this month. We have planned the second schedule in Goa from October 6 to 20. The third schedule will be held in Hyderabad from November 1 to 10. That completes the shooting part of the entire movie. Other details of the film will be revealed shortly", he said.
The film will also comprise Rishabh Basu, Subhash, Anand Bharti and others playing other important roles. The film's Cinematography will be handled by Narsingh, Music will be taken care of by Balaji.
