'Mayasabha' will begin streaming on SonyLIV from August 7, 2025. The announcement was made by the streaming platform through its official social media handles. The makers also dropped a teaser, offering a glimpse into the show's intense political drama. The teaser was shared with the caption, "A story of two great friends, turned into political rivals, that became story of the state… Mayasabha streaming on SonyLIV from 7th Aug."

The series revolves around the lives of two political giants, Kakarla Krishnama Naidu and MS Rami Reddy, who begin as allies but later become fierce rivals. The story takes viewers through their ideological clashes and political manoeuvres that ultimately shape the fate of the state.

Plot rooted in Andhra's political pastThe series has a period setting and uses real people as inspiration, and it has been strongly suggested that the rivalries are reflective of the tensions between former Chief Ministers of Andhra Pradesh N Chandrababu Naidu and deceased YS Rajasekhar Reddy.

Apart from Aadhi Pinisetty and Chaitanya Rao, 'Mayasabha' also features an impressive supporting cast including Divya Dutta, Sai Kumar, Srikanth Iyengar, Nassar, Ravindra Vijay, Tanya Ravichandran, and Shatru. The show marks the OTT debut of director Deva Katta, known for his critically acclaimed works like 'Prasthanam' and 'Autonagar Surya'.
