'MEGA157’: Kerala schedule of Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi's film wrapped up, Sankranti 2026 release planned

Anil Ravipudi, who gave the 'Sankranthiki Vasthunaam,' currently teamed up with Megastar Chiranjeevi to direct a new film tentatively titled ‘MEGA157’. The third schedule of the film, Kerala, which stars Nayanthara in the lead role, wrapped up shooting last week. As per Cinema Express, a song and important talkie scenes were shot in this schedule. A photo taken between Chiranjeevi and Anil Ravipudi was also shared by the team.The film is being jointly produced by two leading production houses on a massive budget. In keeping with Anil Ravipudi's signature style, the shooting of the film is progressing at a brisk pace. It is reported that the title and first look of the film are planned to be released soon. The film ‘MEGA157’ is scheduled to release for Sankranti 2026.A few days ago, after some scenes from the Kerala schedule were leaked, the film crew issued a statement expressing their pain and anger about it. They also warned that strict legal action would be taken against those who illegally publish the footage.Chiranjeevi is back in a comedy-filled entertainer with 'MEGA 157', and this will be his first collaboration with Anil Ravipudi. The prospect of Chiranjeevi reuniting with Nayanthara after ‘Sye Raa’ (2019) and ‘Godfather’ (2022) has created huge expectations among fans. Also, V.T.V. Ganesh is playing a key role. Beams Cecilio is composing the music, while Sameer Reddy (cinematography) and Thammiraju (editor) are the key technical artists. The story team also includes S. Krishna, Ajju Mahankali, Tirumala Nag, and G. Adhi Narayan.
