‘Mega158’: Chiranjeevi-Bobby film launch has been delayed after ‘Jana Nayagan’ leak; here’s what we know

After the superhit comedy-drama ‘Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu’, Megastar Chiranjeevi is expected to return with a film directed by Bobby Kolli. There have been reports that the film is expected to officially begin after the Pooja ceremony. But now, it looks like the plan has changed after the shocking leak of Thalapathy Vijay’s next film, ‘Jana Nayagan’.The launch of the film was expected to take place today, on April 11 however, the team seems to have decided to wait and not rush, as per an online reports by Pinkvilla. There is no official update yet from the makers. The delay is said to be because of the leak of ‘Jana Nayagan’. This film stars Vijay and is also made by KVN Productions. After the leak, the makers of ‘Jana Nayagan’ asked people not to share or watch it. Because of this issue, the film, which is tentatively titled ‘Mega158’s team, is being careful. They do not want any problems during their film launch. Earlier, the team wanted to start shooting soon. Now, the shoot is expected to begin on April 20, 2026. But this date can also change. The film was already delayed once before. Chiranjeevi had a knee surgery, so the shoot could not start earlier. Chiranjeevi worked with director Bobby earlier on the film ‘Waltair Veerayya’, which was released in 2023. Talking about the cast, Priyamani and Priety Mukundhan are expected to play key roles. Music will be given by Thaman S. More details about the project are yet to be known.On the other hand, Chiranjeevi has also signed a film with ‘The Paradise’ director Srikantha Odela and is set to be produced by Nani. The film seems to be a gritty action thriller. It is expected to begin after Bobby's directorial.
