Megastar Chiranjeevi was bestowed the Padma Vibhushan earlier this year, and the actor has now received the award from the President of India, Draupadi Murmu, in an official ceremony in Delhi. The actor arrived in Delhi with his wife, Surekha, son actor Ram Charan, and his partner, Upasana Konidela, to receive the second highest civilian honor.

On May 9, Chiranjeevi graced the grand stage of Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, donning his signature black suit as he received the Padma Vibhushan from the President of India. In the latest clip from the event, Ram Charan, Upasana, and Surekha could be seen cheering for the actor amidst the crowd.


Chiranjeevi has appeared in more than 150 films in his career, and the 68-year-old actor was awarded the second highest civilian honor for his valuable contributions to the industry. He has worked in films in Hindi, Tamil, and Kannada.


Some of his significant works include ‘Rudra Veena’, ‘Indra’, ‘Tagore’, ‘Swayam Krushi’, ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’, and more. He was honored with the Padma Bhushan in 2006. The actor was last seen in ‘Bhola Shankar’. He is currently busy shooting for his 156th project ‘Vishwambhara’ by Mallidi Vassishta.
