Meka Srikanth who generally plays the lead roles portrayed an antagonist in Boyapati's ‘Akhanda’. Since then he has been doing a variety of roles in his upcoming movies. In Vamshi Paidipally’s upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual ‘Varisu/Vaarasudu’ he is said to be playing a key role in the film.
Srikanth who has acted in Kannada and Malayalam films before is making his Tamil film debut with ‘Varisu’. Interacting with the media about the same, he reportedly reveals that for the first time, he has done a Tamil film in his career, he will be seen as
Vijay’s brother in the movie and the film is said to be an out-and-out action entertainer with lots of good visuals and emotions.
He reportedly revealed that there will be lots of emotional scenes between his character and Vijay in the film. The ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ actor also said that this is for the first time he is acting in Dil Raju’s production despite being in the Industry for a long and he revealed that he is playing a never before seen character in Ramcharan and Shankar’s film ‘RC15’.
'Varisu/Varasudu' will feature Rashmika Mandanna, Jayasudha, Kick Shyam, Sarath Kumar, Sangeetha, Prabhu and all the above actors have done films in Telugu before. 'Varasudu' is getting released in theatres on 12th Jan 2023 in Telugu and Tamil languages.
