Teja Sajja and team are enjoying the box office feast of the last release 'Miria'. During a recent event in Hyderabad, the lead actor shared his concern about the dangers of piracy and that the audience should watch the film only on big screens.
As per a report by News18, the makers held an event to celebrate the success. During the event, Teja Sajja addressed the issue of piracy that has increased and is worrying for filmmakers.
The young actor revealed that there have already been attempts to upload 'Mirai' illegally on several platforms. "I have to tell you something really important today. In many sites online, including Instagram and
YouTube, attempts are being made to upload the film," Teja said.
Explains why to watch in theatres
Teja Sajja mentioned that watching 'Mirai' on small screens at home would not have the impact of the film's grand visuals and sound design. "I have a strong feeling that this film can be best enjoyed in a theatre with the audience. I am trusting the audience not to give in to piracy and watch this only in theatres. You’re missing out on an experience if you don't watch it in theatres, it won’t be the same on TV or phone," he said.
Keeping movie tickets affordable
He also shared the importance of keeping the movies affordable for the audience. He mentioned that he requested the film's producer and distributors not to hike the ticket prices despite the growing demand.
