Bellamkonda Sreenivas is one among the fittest heroes in Telugu cinema and here is the PROOF

Introduced to Telugu cinema as the son of popular producer Bellamkonda Suresh, Bellamkonda Sreenivas took no time in establishing his credibility as a lead actor with convincing emoting skills. After starring in a string of commercial entertainers helmed with big budgets, the 26-year-old actor struck the right chord with his recent outing Rakshasudu. The physiological thriller which is the remake of Kollywood superhit Ratsasan managed to garner solid critical acclaim and decent commercial reception.

Upbeat with the success, Sai Sreenivas is gearing up for his next film with Kandireega fame Santosh Srinivas. Right from his debut film itself, the Guntur-born actor has been working hard on his physique by engaging in a wide variety of workout sessions. Joining the list of Prabhas, Allu Arjun and others, he is among the few Telugu heroes to sport a chiselled body with six-pack pack abs. To motivate yourself on this Monday, check out for some shirtless pictures of Bellamkonda Sreenivas.

Teaming up with Santosh Srinivas and Devi Sri Prasad for his eighth film

The shooting of Sai Sreenivas’ upcoming film with Kandireega fame Santosh Srinivas is all set to go on floors this month. To prep up for his role, the Alludu Seenu actor went through rigorous workouts and eventually acquired a perfect 9-pack chiselled body. While the leading lady is yet to be revealed, the untitled project features some renowned technicians in the form of Rock Star Devi Sri Prasad and Bollywood cinematographer Dudley. For the first time, the young actor will be seen in a rugged look.

It was VV Vinayak who advised Bellamkonda Suresh to make Sreenivas a hero

Recognising his passion for dance and other art forms, VV Vinayak encouraged Sai Sreenivas to try out his luck in films. It was during this time that the bug of acting has struck the Bellamkonda scion. Once he decided to get into films, the talented lad started to take classes in dances and fights. To sharpen his emoting skills, the Saakshyam actor pursued a one-year course in Lee Strasberg Theater and Film Institute at West Hollywood. After wrapping up the part, he stayed in Los Angeles for six more months and resided at Oakwood Apartments which is filled with people from film and theatre background. He also learnt about dance at the LA Dance Academy.

Prepped up to become a hero for five long years

Before stepping foot into films, Bellamkonda Sreenivas underwent training in multiple departments for five years which include gymnastics and martial arts course in Vietnam and acting-cum-dancing classes in the United States. Starring sexy siren Samantha as the leading lady, his debut film Alludu Seenu released to a big thumbs-up from the masses and the commercial elements in the action entertainer worked well with the viewers. He credits the success of Allu Seenu to director VV Vinayak and cinematographer Chota K Naidu.

Roller-coaster career in Tollywood with hits and flops

Helmed with a good budget, Bellamkonda Sreenivas’ second film Speedunnodu fell flat at the global ticket counters. Starring popular TV actress Sonarika Bhadoria as the female lead, the Telugu remake of Sundarapandian failed to connect with local viewers. However, without getting depressed, he worked on his flaws and came back with a matured performance in Boyapati Srinu’s Jaya Janaki Nayaka. The 2007 action entertainer established Sreenivas’ credibility as a lead actor and producers started to approach him with new offers.

Gym freak and fitness enthusiast with a chiselled body and six-pack abs

To prep up for the concerned role, Bellamkonda Sreenivas goes extreme and transforms his body to the character’s requirement. For his lead role in Saakshyam, the 26-year-old actor got trained in flyboarding, jet skiing, sandboarding, desert biking, ATV riding and BAM cycling for 15 days in Dubai. Opening up on his fitness regime and diet, the Tollywood actor states that he used to have multiple meals a day which includes egg whites, almonds, protein shakes, chicken and fish. Besides food, he used to hit the gym on a regular basis.
