My family makes me sing for Christmas: Anup Rubens

Music composer Anup Rubens talks about his Christmas celebrations. "Apart from all the celebrations at home, over the past three years, I have been making it a point to share the happiness with people who are in need. I went to an orphanage last year and this time too, I���m planning to do something on those lines. Before I got busy with my work in film industry, I would take part in the Christmas celebrations for more than 10 days. I would sing the carols and play music, but now there are Anup Rubens too many commitments."Adding further details, he says, "Christmas is a huge deal for us at home and since my entire family is based in Hyderabad, we have around 60-65 people dropping by at our place. I don���t attend many family events, but all my relatives know that I���ll be at home for Christmas. The most enthusiastic person in the family is my grandmother. She���s 94 years old, but still she sings on top of her voice. The best part is that none of my uncles and aunts would let me go without singing and playing music for them. Everyone cooks their best recipes at home and brings them all to our home. And then, we distribute food to our neighbours too. I love murukkus and rose cookies which my mother makes."
