The comic camaraderie between lead pair is what has got the audiences rolling in laughter reckons director Sriram Adittya. “From day one, we wanted Nagarjuna garu and Nani to be our Deva and Das. But the prospect of bringing both of them on board seemed very daunting initially, however, everything worked out beautifully. From the moment Nagarjuna sir and Nani came on the sets, the energy levels were on a different scale. What you see on screen is a reflection of how they are like off-screen. They are both two loveable people and the moment they came on board, we knew we have a winner on our hands,” he explains.

The director is all praise for his ensemble cast — female leads, Rashmika Mandanna and Aakanksha Singh; Murali Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Naresh and Vennela Kishore
“Most certainly the film is a Deva and Das show but other characters did their job perfectly well and that’s why it clicked the way it did,” he says, signing off.
