Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi visit Tirumala to offer prayers after 'Thandel' success

Actors Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi are basking in the success of their latest film, 'Thandel' directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The team recently visited Tirumala early in the morning to offer prayers and celebrate the film's successful box office opening.

Photos and videos from their Tirumala visit have gone viral on social media, showing Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi dressed in traditional attire. Following their visit to Tirumala, the 'Thandel' team travelled to Srikakulam for a "Thank You" meeting held today, February 13, at Kodi Ramamurty Stadium.

On X (formerly Twitter) Vamsi Kaka wrote, "Team #Thandel offered their prayers at the Divine Tirumala before heading to Srikakulam for the Thank you meet this evening #Thandel THANK YOU MEET in Srikakulam on February 13th (Today) Kodi Ramamurty Stadium, from 5 PM onwards."

'Thandel' is proving to be a box office success. As of Day 6, 'Thandel' has amassed Rs 47.45 crore in India net collections. The film added an estimated Rs 3 crore to its box office total on Wednesday.

'Thandel' has earned Rs 80.12 crores worldwide in its first 5 days. Within just six days, 'Thandel' has surpassed Rs 80 crore worldwide.

The movie is getting good reviews for the performances of Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, as well as Chandoo Mondeti's direction.

'Thandel' is inspired by a real-life incident in 2018 when Pakistani forces captured a fisherman from Srikakulam in international waters. The film follows Thandel Raju and his fellow fishermen who unknowingly enter Pakistani waters and the events that follow. The film portrays Satya's unwavering love and determination.

A few days ago, the makers hosted a success bash to celebrate the film's overwhelming response. Sobhita Dhulipala and Nagarjuna also attended the event to support Naga Chaitanya.
