Naga Chaitanya is gearing up for his next big project, a romance drama titled 'Thandel', directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The film features Sai Pallavi as the female lead and is based on real-life events, with Chaitanya portraying the role of a fisherman.

Recently, Naga Chaitanya, who played Aamir Khan's best friend in 'Laal Singh Chadda', was spotted returning to Hyderabad at the airport. The actor was seen in a beard look, dressed in a black round-neck t-shirt and grey pants. He completed his look with watches on both wrists and a pair of sunglasses hanging from the collar of his t-shirt. The video of Chaitanya arriving at the airport has been going viral on social media platforms.

'Thandel' is an action-packed drama centered around the fishermen community. The plot revolves around a fisherman who, while drifting in the ocean, is captured by Pakistani forces and imprisoned. In the poster and teaser released earlier, Naga is seen with a rugged look and handling the ropes used by the fishermen.

The makers have not announced the release date of the film yet, but it is expected to be released in December 2024. The film has generated immense buzz as fans can't wait to see Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi's chemistry back again after the 2021 film, 'Love Story'.
