, 2019, the makers of this Telugu dubbed version of Kollywood’s snake-thriller ‘Neeya 2’ have confirmed the release date.
The L Suresh directorial film promises a riveting tale blended with
thrilling elements
like romance, horror, mystery and snakes. Apart from
charming screen presence
of Catherine Tresa and Raai Laxmi, the CGI work will be one of the major highlights of the film. The makers clarified that 'Neeya 2' is not a sequel to Kamal Hassan’s 1979 film 'Neeya?' but will share some similarities with the core plot. They also said that the story of the movie revolves around the life of a man and three women. The movie was extensively shot in the exquisite location of
Kodaikanal and Madurai
.
‘Nagakanya’ has been helmed on a lavish budget with renowned technicians like Rajavel Mohan, Gopi Krishna and Shabir on board. The movie has been bankrolled by Sridhar Arunachalam under the banner of Jumbo Cinemas.
