After revealing the first look posters of
Varalakshmi Sarathkumar
and
Raai Laxmi, the makers of the Telugu dubbed version of Kollywood’s snake-thriller
‘Neeya 2’
have just unveiled the theatrical trailer on YouTube. Titled as ‘
Nagakanya
’, the L Suresh directorial has Jai and
Catherine Tresa in lead roles along with Varalakshmi and Raai Laxmi.
While there is no clarity on the release date, the 2-minute trailer looks promising with a riveting tale blended with thrilling elements like romance, horror, mystery and snakes. While Catherine and the ‘Julie 2’ diva made sure that there is enough glamour, the CGI work in the film looks decent with a good background score.
‘Nagakanya’ has been helmed on a lavish budget with renowned technicians like Rajavel Mohan, Gopi Krishna and Shabir on board.
After shaking her belly in films like ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ and ‘Khaidi No. 150’, Raai Laxmi is playing the titular role of a hot school teacher in her upcoming Telugu film titled
‘Where Is The Venkatalakshmi’
. On the other side, Varalakshmi will be essaying a pivotal role in
‘Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL’
starring Sundeep Kishan and Hansika Motwani.
