Nagarjuna starrer 'Officer's' pre-release event gets a date

has reunited for an action thriller. Titled ‘

Officer

,’ the film is all set to hit screens on June 1. As per latest updates the pre-release event of the film will be held on May 28 in Hyderabad’s N-Convention at 7 pm. According to sources the entire cast and crew will attend the event.

Nagarjuna will be seen essaying the role of a fearless cop in the film. The film also stars Myra Sareen in a crucial role. The movie is predominantly shot in Mumbai. Putting rest to rumors regarding the story of ‘Officer,’ RGV recently took to social media and wrote, “The Story of Officer is based upon true life IPS officer

K M Prasanna

from Karnataka, who was appointed as the chief of a SIT (Special Investigation Team) to investigate a highly reputed cop in Mumbai. It’s the details that IPS officer K M Prasanna personally told me in 2010 that finally became the story of Officer.

is playing Mr Prasanna, who at present is the Additional Commissioner of Police, Crime Branch, Mumbai (sic).”
