Nagarjuna’s Annapurna Studios onboards veteran colourist Andreas Brueckl to boost creative vision
Actor and filmmaker Nagarjuna led production banner Annapurna Studios, has taken a step in strengthening its creative team as the production house has hired the internationally acclaimed senior colourist Andreas Brueckl. The studio officially announced the update on Tuesday with a press release.
Apart from Indian projects, Andreas Brueckl has also worked on international collaborations. His experience extends to Los Angeles, Europe, and the Middle East.
Speaking about the new hire, the executive director of the production house, Supriya Yarlagadda, shared her thoughts. She said the studio has always focused on creative excellence. She added that working with top global talent has been an important part of their vision. As per PTI, she said, “We are pleased to welcome Andreas Brueckl, whose expertise will strengthen and enrich our team. With a strong and accomplished team already in place, his perspective across international projects and Indian cinema will further expand our capabilities.”
Andreas Brueckl’s experience and role
Andreas Brueckl is known for his work across Europe and Asia and has over 20 years of experience in the film industry. It is stated that at the production house, he will work closely with the creative and technical teams. He will also collaborate under the guidance of the studio’s chief technology officer, CV Rao.Notable projects in Indian cinema

Nagarjuna’s recent and upcoming work
Speaking of Nagarjuna’s work, the Telugu veteran was last seen in the pan-India film ‘Coolie’ starring Superstar Rajinikanth, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. The film had a star-studded cast, including Nagarjuna, Upendra Rao, Soubin Shahir, Aamir Khan, Shruti Haasan and others. The movie released during Independence Day collected Rs 518 crore worldwide.
