Nagarjuna's first glimpse as The Ghost to be out on July 9

The first glimpse of Praveen Sattaru’s Nagarjuna and Sonal Chauhan starrer The Ghost will be out soon.

The makers took to social media to announce that it will be released on July 9. The announcement calls Nagarjuna’s character a ‘killing machine’ and sees him carrying a sword, looking fierce. He’s also seen dressed in a formal suit with a blood moon forming the backdrop. The Ghost will see him play an Interpol officer for the first time in his career. Shooting for the film has been mostly wrapped up, with only an action episode left. It remains to be seen when the production will be wrapped up and a release date is yet to be announced.


Kajal Aggarwal was initially roped in to play the female lead and she even shot a few scenes. However, when she got pregnant, she was replaced with Sonal Chauhan. The Ghost also stars Gul Panag and Anikha Surendran in key roles. Mukesh G is handling cinematography for the film while Brahma Kadali is the art director. Dinesh Subbarayan and Kaecha are the stunt directors. It remains to be seen who’s composing the music. The makers previously released posters and working stills that hint at the film being a dark action thriller.
