Nagarjuna's RARE photos with first wife Lakshmi Daggubati go viral as Naga Chaitanya prepares to wed

A Reddit user recently shared these nostalgic photos, which show Nagarjuna and Lakshmi gazing lovingly at each other, likely from their wedding day in 1984. Another photo features the couple posing at a party, while a third captures Lakshmi with her son, Naga Chaitanya. The resurfacing of these images has sparked interest among fans, especially as Naga prepares for his second marriage.

Lakshmi Daggubati is the daughter of the late D. Ramanaidu, a prominent film producer and one of South India's wealthiest men. She has two siblings, Venkatesh and Suresh Babu, making her the aunt of actor Rana Daggubati. Nagarjuna and Lakshmi married in 1984 but separated in 1990. Nagarjuna later wed actress Amala Akkineni in 1992.

As of Naga Chaitanya was previously married to 'Citadel: Honey Bunny' star Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The former couple after four years of marriage, announced their separation mutually on social media in October 2021.

Naga Chaitanya and Shobita Dhulipala's engagement was announced by Nagarjuna on an X (formerly Twitter) post. In his post, he wrote, "We are delighted to announce the engagement of our son, Naga Chaitanya, to Sobhita Dhulipala, which took place this morning at 9:42 a.m.!! Adding to the joyous celebrations, Naga Chaitanya's younger brother too shared the news finding his love and getting engaged to Zainab Ravdjee. Nagarjuna for his younger son wrote, "We are thrilled to announce the engagement of our son, @AkhilAkkineni8, to our daughter in law to be Zainab Ravdjee! We couldn't be happier to welcome Zainab into our family. Please join us to congratulate the young couple and wish them a lifetime filled with love, joy, and your countless blessings."
