Nandamuri Balakrishna starrer 'Daaku Maharaaj' Hindi and Tamil version to release on THIS date

'Daaku Maharaaj', starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, has made a strong debut at the box office since its release on January 12, 2025. The film grossed approximately Rs 22.50 crore on its opening day, marking it as one of Balakrishna's most successful films to date. The action drama film had a positive reception and strong occupancy rates.

Despite the film's success in Telugu, the Tamil and Hindi versions faced delays due to technical issues. As per a 123Telugu report, filmmaker Naga Vamsi announced during a press conference that if the censor formalities are completed on time, they plan to release these versions on January 17, 2025. This move is expected to widen the film's reach and boost its box office numbers further.

Directed by Bobby Kolli, 'Daaku Maharaaj' tells the story of a fearless character who rises to become a "king without a kingdom." The film features a talented cast, including Urvashi Rautela, Shraddha Srinath, and Pragya Jaiswal in key roles. The music of the film is composed by Thaman.

The film opened with impressive occupancy rates, peaking at 74.61% during evening shows. Early reports suggest that 'Daaku Maharaaj' has outperformed previous releases like 'Bhagavanth Kesari', making it one of Balakrishna’s top openers.

The 'Daaku Maharaaj' team recently celebrated the film's impressive success with a gathering that included the entire cast, crew, and several Tollywood celebrities. Actor Vishwak Sen who was present at the gathering took to Instagram to share a video from the success celebrations. In the video, Balakrishna can be seen addressing the crowd, stating, "My success is your success. My success is the film industry's success." The clip also features actor Siddu Jonnalagadda.
