Nani's 'HIT 3' to make Rs 40 crore in pre-release sales: Reports

Telugu superstar Nani is gearing up for the release of 'HIT: The Third Case', the latest installment in the popular crime thriller franchise. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the film portrays Nani as an intense cop Arjun Sarkaar. The film has been promoted extensively and pre-release reports suggest the film to open with strong numbers.

As per a 123Telugu report, the pre-release business has been locked at Rs 40 crore.

In 'HIT 3,' Nani takes on the role of Arjun Sarkaar, a ruthless and determined cop who stops at nothing to ensure justice. The teaser, which was unveiled earlier this year, showcases Nani in a ferocious avatar, wielding a sickle and standing over his adversaries. This intense portrayal marks one of the most violent and action-heavy roles in Nani’s career.

His previous film, 'Court: State vs. A Nobody,' benefited immensely from his promotional strategies, and the same approach is paying off for 'HIT 3.' With Nani also serving as the producer of the film, it is expected to achieve its pre-release target with ease if it garners positive reviews upon release.

The plot of 'HIT 3' is about a fierce and uncompromising cop who takes on a harrowing case involving the kidnapping of a nine-month-old baby.

The movie features Srinidhi Shetty as its female lead. The film also boasts cinematography by Sanu John Varghese and music by Mickey J Meyer. The movie is shot in Kashmir and other parts of North India.

The film is set to release on May 1, 2025, in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam.

After its theatrical release, the movie will be streamed online on Netflix.
