It is a common practice with Tollywood fans to make their favourite stars’s birthdays special with cake cuttings and displaying huge banners.The coronavirus pandemic has thrown a spanner in such celebrations with more and more actors requesting their fans to keep the celebrations simple and avoid gatherings so that

who will celebrate his birthday on July 25 had a similar request for his fans. In a statement , Nara Rohith said, “I thank everyone for sending me advanced birthday wishes. I decided to stay away from my birthday this year because of the number of

coronavirus cases

that are spiking up daily. I sincerely request all the Nara fans to stay away from gatherings, banners and flexes. This is the time that we really need to stand with the police personnels, doctors and sanitation workers. Let us just not trouble them by celebrating my birthday. Nara fans have been very disciplined and good citizens. In case if anyone is planning to serve the needy on my birthday, please do maintain social distancing. In such crisis times, it is very important to stay safe. I wish to god that we will soon come out of this pandemic and get back to our normal lives.”


Apart from Nara Rohith, director Puri Jagannadh’s son Akash Puri too urged fans to refrain from organizing celebrations on his birthday this year. Nara Rohith was last seen in ‘Veera Bhoga Vasantha Rayalu’ which released in the year 2018
