Nazriya Nazim to play Leena Thomas in Nani co-starrer Ante Sundaraniki

Leela Thomas

, a photographer, in the film. Sharing her look, Nani – who plays the titular character, wrote on social media, “Meet our Leela, Leela Thomas. Heart of #AnteSundaraniki. (sic)” This film will mark the Malayali actress’ debut in Telugu cinema. Her first-look was received well by fans who look forward to watching her in TFI.

The makers were in the news for hilariously blocking dates for the whole summer when films were getting postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. They have zeroed in on June 10 as the release date now. Vivek Athreya’s last films Mental Madhilo and

Brochevarevaru Ra

were received well. Fans expect him to recreate the same magic with what is expected to be a hilarious entertainer.

Shooting for Ante Sundaraniki has been wrapped up and the film is in post-production. Nazriya, who debuted with the 2013 film Maad Dad took a break from acting after her wedding to Fahadh Faasil in 2014 when she was only 19. She made a comeback with the 2018 Koode and even played an extended role in 2020 film Trance. Ante Sundaraniki is her second full-fledged role after marriage.
