Newlyweds Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala share their old-school romance: I’m the fluttering kite and he’s the anchor

The newlywed Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala shared insights into their love story after the couple tied the knot on December 4. The couple discussed how they first connected, their initial date, and what they appreciate about each other.

In a recent interview with the New York Times, they shared that their romance began on Instagram, where they would react to each other's stories before transitioning to direct messages. Naga Chaitanya made a significant gesture by flying to Mumbai for their first date at a popular cafe. Sobhita described this as a charming and old-school move, while Chaitanya admitted he prefers face-to-face communication over texting.

The 'Night Manager' actress said, "That was the charming part. It was so old school in a way."

After their initial meeting, the couple met again at an Amazon Prime event in Mumbai, where Sobhita attended for her series 'Made in Heaven'. She recalled wearing a red dress while Naga sported a blue suit, marking another memorable moment in their budding relationship.

Their first trip together was to Bandipur National Park in Karnataka, where they were joined by Naga's friends. Sobhita shared about their personalities. She described, "He’s a doer, I’m a be-er. I’m the fluttering kite and he’s the anchor. Our dissimilarities really kept us interested and curious about each other".

She also shared that their journey is cute and steady. They fall in love as "two metals welded by the same wants" and not like two tender hearts. She spoke about their interaction and how their life felt easy.

The couple got engaged in August and later got married in a private affair held at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad, attended by close family and friends.
