Next Enti movie review highlights: Tamannaah and Sundeep Kishan's film is nonsensically contrived

While there was much ado about the film's story, with Tamannaah even calling it a film that 'breaks stereotypes' and fans of Hum Tum and Fanaa expecting some first-world Bollywood magic to be injected into our very own Telugu cinema, the first half of the film is anything but that. Sanju (Sundeep Kishan) is a marketing executive who is practical when it comes to relationships and believes love and lust both play a part in it, sometimes one more than the other. Tammy (Tamannaah) is the dear child of her toupee wearing father (Sarat Babu) who 'hates boys' because they never meet the expectations her single father set for her - not just with how he is but with the gyaan he gives her. She has been 'brought up with Indian values even in London' and believes sex is equal to commitment. While Sanju and Tammy hit it off at first and later break up after living in for 6 months, will they ever get back together?



After watching the no-linear, contrived, nonsensical narrative so far which is so shallow it makes one not give a damn about any of the characters we see on screen. Filled with overdrawn, clichéd conversations and three randomly placed songs, the first half of the film is a massive disappointment. While there are two heartwarming scenes featuring Tammy and her father, the drivel unfortunately overshadows it. Navdeep and Larissa Bonesi haven't appeared on screen yet either so it remains to be seen how the second half will care. This reviewer however doesn't hold out any hope for it getting any better.
