Nidhhi Agerwal on 'The Raja Saab': "People will be shocked by my role"

Prabhas, one of the most beloved stars, is working on his upcoming film 'The Raja Saab', a horror romantic comedy directed by Maruthi. The film stars Nidhhi Agerwal as the female, who recently shared her experience of working with the Rebel Star and some insight about the film.

As per a report by Deccan Chronicle, the actress with light humour shared that she is not playing the ghost in the film. She expressed her enthusiasm for the project, stating, "'The Raja Saab' has got to be the most fun set I have ever been on. Working with Prabhas has been one of the best experiences of my life. He is the sweetest, kindest person. I think people are going to be a little bit shocked with what I’m playing."

The plot of the film is expected to be around a young man who seeks to clear his financial struggles by claiming his ancestral property, only to discover that it is haunted by the vengeful spirit of activist Dadasaheb Shani Singh Thakur.

The film was initially scheduled for release on April 10, 2025, but has been postponed due to production delays and scheduling conflicts.

The new release date is yet to be confirmed, and as per a Gulte report, there is the possibility that the film might be released around Dussehra or Diwali, though these dates are crowded with other major releases.

On the other hand, the makers are yet to film three important songs which cannot be rushed as the female leads, Nidhhi Agerwal and Malvika Mohanlal are busy with their other projects.

The film also stars Sanjay Dutt, Anupam Kher, and Brahmanandam in pivotal roles.
