Nidhhi Agerwal reveals she signed limited films as 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' contract tied her to Pawan Kalyan's schedule
Nidhhi Agerwal, known for her roles in films like 'Ismart Shankar' and 'Kalaga Thalaivan', recently opened up about her absence from the film industry since her last projects. In a conversation on Nikhil Vijayendra Simha's podcast, she explained the reasons behind her limited filmography.
During a podcast with Nikhil Vijayendra Simha, Nidhhi addressed questions about why she hasn't signed more films compared to her fellow actors in the industry. She revealed that while she received numerous offers, some did not pique her interest, and others clashed with her commitments. Specifically, she had signed on for Pawan Kalyan's 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' before the pandemic, which resulted in an extended filming timeline of about three to four years. Due to her contract, she was required to be available whenever Pawan Kalyan, the film's lead actor, was available, as his busy schedule with politics made it challenging to adjust filming dates.

When the Prabhas starrer 'The Raja Saab' came along, Nidhhi negotiated with the production team to allow her to take on that role without it interfering with her commitments to 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu'. This led to a hectic schedule where she had to manage double shifts between filming locations in Vijayawada and Hyderabad.
Nidhhi expressed feelings of frustration and sadness when comparing herself to other actors who were more active during this time. However, she ultimately recognized that the projects she was involved in were worth the wait.
'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', which began production in 2020, was announced to be split into two parts due to delays caused by the pandemic and Pawan Kalyan's political obligations. The first part is titled 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 – Sword vs Spirit'. Meanwhile, 'The Raja Saab', directed by Maruthi, is set for a summer release.
