Tollywood actor Nikhil Siddharth
is all set to take the directorial plunge with a Children’s film. After seventeen years of acting, the Telugu star has finally decided to turn director.
Nikhil revealed the news during a
television show
recently. Calling it the beginning of a new journey in his career, he reportedly said that it will be a film shot with children liked by
children and adults
alike. Talks are underway regarding the same. He also said that he would make the film following all the rules set by the government. The rest of the cast and crew is yet to be finalised.
Nikhil Siddharth began his career in the industry as an assistant director for Hyderabad Nawabs. Before that, he had an uncredited role in Nithiin starrer Sambaram. He first came to the limelight in 2007 when he was seen in the Sekhar Kammula’s Happy Days. Since then, the actor never looked back. Some of his hit films include Yuvatha, Swamy Ra Ra, Karthikeya, Surya vs Surya, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada and Keshava. Last seen playing a character called Arjun in T Santhosh’s Arjun Suravaram, Nikhil is currently working on Chandoo Mondeti’s ''Karthikeya 2'' and Palnati Surya Pratap’s ''18 Pages''.
