Actor Nikhil Siddhartha, on Wednesday, expressed his gratitude to his fans on Twitter for their overwhelming support and turnout at the theaters for his latest film, 'Spy.' The actor also took the opportunity to address the disappointment caused by the limited multi-language release of the movie across India due to contract and content delay issues. He apologized to the Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Malayalam audience for the inconvenience and assured them that future films would have a proper release in all languages.

In his heartfelt note, Nikhil Siddhartha acknowledged the trust that his fans have placed in him, which has resulted in the highest opening of his career at the box office. He expressed immense happiness in knowing that his audience believes in him. However, he was saddened by the fact that 'Spy' couldn't have a wide release across India and had to cancel 350 Telugu premier shows overseas due to contractual and content-related challenges.

The actor's apology extended to the fans of other languages, assuring them that after his upcoming film 'Karthikeya 2,' his next three films will have a proper multi-language release, with meticulous attention to finishing and timely delivery. Nikhil Siddhartha emphasized that quality would never be compromised, regardless of the pressures faced during production. He pledged to provide his audience with finished and fantastic products that meet their expectations.


'Spy' revolves around the story of R&AW agent Jai and his team, who embark on a mission to capture an arms dealer named Khadir Khan, who was supposedly killed five years ago by Jai's brother Subhash. However, they are declared "rogue agents" by the government. The film showcases their journey as they defy all odds to save the country from a potential nuclear attack.

Apart from Nikhil Siddhartha, 'Spy' features a talented ensemble cast including Aryan Rajesh, Abhinav Gomatam, Jisshu Sengupta, Makarand Deshpande, Prithvi, Sachin Khedekar, Posani Krishna Murali, Suresh, Ravi Kiran, and Sanya Thakur. Iswarya Menon plays the leading lady in the movie.

Directed by Garry BH, 'Spy' marks his directorial debut after gaining significant experience in film editing. The screenplay is penned by Anirudh Krishna Murthy and K Raja Shekhar Reddy. Vishal Chandrasekhar composed the film's music, while Sricharan Pakala contributed to the background score. Mark David and Vamsi Patchipulusu handled the cinematography, while Garry BH took charge of the editing process.
