'Not just a fever': Venky Kudumula shares cousin's passing, urges fans not to delay seeking medical help for fevers

Venky Kudumula, a promising director in Telugu cinema, shared some sad news on social media. He revealed that his cousin had passed away due to a rare medical condition known as GB syndrome, which initially appeared as a fever but could have been treated if detected in time. He urged people not to take any symptoms lightly, emphasizing that any discomfort in the body should prompt immediate medical attention.

Directors, actors, and many others began commenting on this Twitter post, offering condolences and expressing gratitude for his efforts to raise awareness.

GB syndrome is an exceptionally rare neurological disorder where the immune system mistakenly attacks parts of the peripheral nervous system, leading to symptoms like weakness, sensation changes, muscle pain, abnormal heartbeats, and blood pressure issues.


Venky Kudumula's previous project was the successful romantic comedy film ‘Bheeshma’ in 2020, starring Rashmika Mandanna and Nithiin. His upcoming film, ‘#VNRTrio,’ features Sreeleela, Rashmika, and Nithiin in lead roles and is described as an action romantic drama.
