Legendary actor and politician Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao passed away at the age of 72 on January 18, 1996. On Sunday, his grandson, actor Kalyanram Nandamuri, visited NTR Ghat in Hyderabad to pay his respects. However, during the early hours of the weekend, a large number of fans crowded around him at the ghat.
Fans crowd around Kalyanram
Videos surfacing online show that Kalyanram was surrounded by fans as soon as he arrived. People wanted to take selfies and be close to the actor, making it difficult for him to move freely. One video shared by artistybuzz on their Instagram handle shows his security team being pushed and shoved while trying to protect him. Kalyanram calmly prayed and placed a wreath at his grandfather’s memorial, but the crowd continued to push forward.
In another video, Kalyanram is seen asking fans to step back as he sits on the ground to pray. His security tried their best to manage the crowd, but it was a struggle. At one moment, a fan even tried to fall at his feet, but security intervened quickly.
