'OG' Twitter review: Pawan Kalyan’s aura wins fans; Netizens say 'It's a bloody mass thriller'

Pawan Kalyan’s much-awaited gangster drama 'OG' finally hit theatres on September 25, and social media is buzzing with reactions from fans.

Mixed first-half reactions but PK’s aura shines

While the fan frenzy is undeniable, the early reviews of the first half are slightly mixed. A verified reviewer posted, “#OG Satisfactory 1st Half! First half is a typical savior gangster drama so far. This half was more of setup with many character introductions and felt pretty flat till the superb interval block which came out well. Emraan Hashmi makes powerful Telugu debut

Adding to the excitement is Emraan Hashmi, who makes his Telugu debut with OG as the menacing antagonist Omi Bhav. Reviewer Umair Sandhu wrote, “It’s the power-packed, bloody mass thriller of 2025… It’s a solid combo. But Emraan Hashmi is the show stopper! He has done a fantastic job.” He rated the film 3.5/5.

With Pawan Kalyan’s Ojas Gambhira pitted against Emraan Hashmi’s Omi Bhav, fans are already calling OG one of the biggest mass films of the year. Alongside them, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Prakash Raj, Rao Ramesh, Shriya Reddy, and Subhaleka Sudhakar round out the stellar cast.
