Nandini Reddy’s Telugu remake of the Korean hit ‘Miss Granny’, titled ‘Oh Baby’ and starring Samantha and Lakshmi in lead roles hit screens this Friday. This is the first Indian remake of the Korean film which is releasing in Telugu and Tamil both.
The film which sees music by Mickey J Meyer also stars Naga Shaurya, Rajendra Prasad, Rao Ramesh and more in key roles. ‘Oh Baby’ charts the journey of a 70-year-old Savitri (Lakshmi), lovingly called Baby, who loses her husband (Adivi Sesh) early in life and is left to fend for her only son (Rao Ramesh) alone. But in the process, she loses the best time of her youth without ever having done anything other women her age have. When she gets the chance to be a 20-year-old again (Samantha), thanks to a mysterious man (Jagapathi Babu), how she grasps at life with both hands forms the crux of the tale.
