On social media, the makers wrote, “Those we love do not go away, they walk beside us every day. Remembering our beloved EVV Satyanarayana on his 10th death anniversary.” (sic). The film Naandhi is directed by Vijay Kanakamedala and the teaser of the film has already been out.

, Allari Naresh said, “There are 1400 prisons in the country and many innocent people were forced to confess the crime that they have not committed. Though there are various reasons behind doing this, the treatment of those suspects has been blatantly brutal. I am going to play the role of an innocent suspect who falls into a trap of a cold-blooded crime. The story is not a fictional one as director Vijay Kanakamedala has done research on multiple such cases. There are plenty of prisoners who didn’t commit the crime but were behind bars. Naandhi is one such man’s story and it tells how this man manages to come out of the trap of actual criminals.”
