As power star Pawan Kalyan celebrates his 54th birthday today, wishes are pouring in from all corners. Pawan, who began his career with 'Akkada Ammayi Ikkada Abbayi' in 1996, is now one of the industry's highest-paid and most popular actors.
The fans of power star have carried out various activities offline to celebrate the birthday of their favourite star. The highlight of the on-ground celebration is the re-release of the star’s blockbuster films, 'Jalsa' and 'Thammudu'.'Jalsa' was written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas. The film saw Pawan playing the role of a Naxalite, who ends up as a collegegoer with the help of a police officer yet falls in love with his daughter. The film was a smash hit at the box office at the time and it elevated Pawan’s stardom to another level. 'Jalsa' was screened in 500 plus shows across the world as part of Pawan’s birthday celebrations.

Pawan Kalyan, who is well-known for his stylish mannerisms, has carved out a niche for himself in Indian cinema. On this special day, the makers of his period action-drama, 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu', unveiled a glimpse of the actor as a warrior. The actor can be seen beating up the goons in full action, and fans were mesmerised by his appearance in the video. Pawan Kalyan will soon resume the shoot of 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu' directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The actor also has a project with Harish Shankar in the works. The film is now in the pre-production stage and is expected to go on the floors early next year.
