Advance bookings for 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh', starring Pawan Kalyan, have begun gaining momentum in overseas markets.According to a social media update shared by distributor Prathyangira Cinemas on March 15, the film’s advance bookings in North America have already crossed 200,000 USD.

Ugadi festival release on March 19

Directed by Harish Shankar, 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' is scheduled to release in theatres on March 19 and the date coincides with the festive occasion of Ugadi.The film is described as an action-comedy centred around a powerful character played by Pawan Kalyan and is said to be a remake of Vijay's Tamil film 'Theri'.

Box office clash with 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'

'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' will face competition at the box office from Ranveer Singh starrer 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'.Meanwhile, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has issued a Government Order (GO) regarding the film’s screenings. The order allows 'Ustaad Bhagat Singh' to hold benefit shows instead of premiere shows.Earlier reports suggested that premiere screenings might take place on March 18, similar to the schedule for 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge'.
However, the latest order clarifies that benefit shows will begin on March 19.These special screenings are expected to start very early in the morning. Reports indicate that the shows could begin around 4 AM or 5 AM. The ticket price for these benefit shows has been fixed at Rs 500, according to the report.

Early reaction from overseas screening

The film has already generated some early reactions online. On March 11, film personality Umair Sandhu shared his first impressions on X.After watching the overseas censor screening, he praised the film’s opening sequence. Sharing his reaction, he wrote, "#PawanKalyan Entry Scene is Paisa Vasool ! Watching Overseas Censor Screening #UstaadBhagatSingh !."Apart from Pawan Kalyan, the film also features Sreeleela, Raashii Khanna and R. Parthiban in key roles.
