‘Peddi’ star Ram Charan says ‘had a great time’ as he meets ‘Vaazha 2’ team; backs Telugu release of Malayalam blockbuster

Ram Charan is busy with the shooting of his much-awaited movie, ‘Peddi’. Amidst the shoot, he recently met the team of the Malayalam coming-of-age comedy drama film, ‘Vaazha 2’. The ‘RRR’ actor shared a picture with them on social media and spoke about spending time with the team. The film's original version was a big hit in Malayalam and is now coming to the Telugu audience.Ram Charan took to his social media handle and sharing the picture he wrote, “Had a great time catching up with the team of Vaazha 2. A film that turned into a massive blockbuster in Malayalam is now set to arrive for the Telugu audience. Glad to see Sahu Garapati and Archana bringing this film to a wider audience. Wishing the driving force behind it, Vipin Das, director Savin SA, and the young team all the very best.”Earlier, Nani shared the trailer of the Telugu dubbed version as he applauded the team on the success and wrote, "Congratulations on the amazing reception that ‘Vaazha 2’ is getting all over the world. Glad that Shine Screens is bringing this blockbuster to us here too."The Telugu version of the film will release on April 24.Speaking of ‘Vaazha 2’, just like the first part, the sequel follows four friends labelled as losers and troublemakers who face mounting social pressure and learn to embrace responsibilities while finding success on their own terms. The film has crossed over Rs 100 crore globally.Talking about Ram Charan’s upcoming film, ‘Peddi’ is a sports action drama which is directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film has been in the news recently after multiple names came forward about who will shake a leg with Ram Charan in the film for a special song. Names including Mrunal Thakur, Samyuktha and Manasa Varanasi were reported, but the latest buzz suggests Shruti Haasan will be finalized.A few days ago makes also announced that less than a week is left to wrap the film’s shoot.‘Peddi’ includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Boman Irani in key roles.
